Last winter, as I sat on our balcony gazing out at the farmland across the street, the lush, velvety green under the warm winter sun took me back to our honeymoon road trip through Italy in the spring of 2019.
We stopped in Portofino, a breath taking fishing village along the Italian Riviera. I fell in love. Portofino's colours are such a vivid celebration of Mediterranean splendour. The clear, cerulean blue of the sea contrasts strikingly with the warm, sunlit pastel facades of the buildings. These historic structures, painted in soft earthy shades of peach, salmon, and butter yellow, create a harmonious tapestry against the backdrop of lush, verdant hills.
That winter day dream of Portofino became the inspiration of our SS24 collection, “Portofino Dreams”. The collection’s warm, earthy palette is infused with the gorgeous hues of Butter, Olive, and Hibiscus, celebrating the arrival of sun-kissed Spring and Summer—our favourite seasons here in Byron Bay.
For me, travel, love, and nature are the essence of life and my greatest sources of inspiration.
